22.10 - Special Income Standard (SIS) |
The Special Income Standard (SIS) is used to determine whether a client is eligible for the SIS-EW program. It is equal to three times the Federal Benefit Rate (FBR) The maximum federal benefit rate for the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program. This amount is updated each January and is used to determine the Pickle Disregard and the Special Income Standard (SIS) for the Elderly Waiver (EW) program..
