2.5.1 Medical Assistance for Women with Breast or Cervical Cancer (Archive)

Medical Assistance for women with Breast or Cervical Cancer (MA-BC) is a basis of eligibility for women who need treatment for breast or cervical cancer, including precancerous conditions and early stage cancer. They must be screened and diagnosed through the Sage Screening Program.

Sage is a statewide comprehensive breast and cervical cancer screening program administered by the Minnesota Department of Health. For eligible women, Sage provides free office visits for breast and cervical exams, as well as a screening mammogram and Pap smears.
