Minnesota Family Planning Program
4.1.1.4.3 Medical Support (Archive)
When a Minnesota Family Planning Program (MFPP) adult enrollee has a minor child enrolled in Medical Assistance (MA) and the child has a parent who does not live with the child, the MA Medical Support policy applies. MFPP enrollees younger than 18 are not required to comply with medical support.
As a condition of MFPP eligibility for a parent, they must cooperate with obtaining medical support and establishing paternity for dependent children who are MA-eligible. See the MA Medical Support policy for more information.
