4.1.2.1 Barriers (Archive)
A barrier is an eligibility requirement that prevents a person’s eligibility for the Minnesota Family Planning Program (MFPP), even when the person meets all other eligibility criteria. Barriers to MFPP eligibility include:

MinnesotaCare enrollment

Minnesota Department of Human Services HIV/AIDS Programs enrollment

Substance abuse treatment funded by the Consolidated Chemical Dependency Treatment Fund

Pregnancy

Younger than age 15 or older than age 49
