MinnesotaCare (Archive)

MinnesotaCare (MCRE) is a premium-based program that provides health care coverage for both families with children and adults without children. There are no bases of eligibility for MCRE. However, certain characteristics such as pregnancy, age, and household composition may affect eligibility requirements and benefits.

Enrollees are also assigned to one of four eligibility groups. Group status mainly affects insurance barrier requirements and system coding for benefits.
