State-Funded Health Care

The following noncitizens may be eligible for state-funded MinnesotaCare (MinnesotaCare major programs JJ or BB) if they meet all other eligibility criteria.

l  Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs), battered noncitizens and their children, and immigrants who have been paroled at least one year who resided in the United States for less than five years and do not meet the military service exemption.

l  Other lawfully present noncitizens.

Noncitizens who are receiving care and rehabilitation services from the Centers for Victims of Torture (CVT) may be eligible for state-funded MA if they are not eligible for federally funded MA.
