MinnesotaCare
3.2.1 Citizenship and Lawful Presence
To be eligible for MinnesotaCare, a person must be one of the following and meet all other eligibility factors:
- a U.S. citizen or U.S. national,
- a lawfully present noncitizen,
- a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) grantee, or
- a child who is not lawfully present under age 18.
This section covers citizenship and lawful presence eligibility and verification policies. The following policies apply to MinnesotaCare.
