Minnesota Family Planning Program
4.1.4.1 Health Care Delivery
All Minnesota Family Planning Program (MFPP) services are provided through a fee-for-service delivery system.
Medicare
The Minnesota Family Planning Program (MFPP) will not pay for prescription drugs covered under the Medicare prescription drug benefit.
Covered Services
The MFPP covers family planning services and supplies, including:

Family planning-related office visits

Birth control prescriptions, devices and supplies

Sterilizations
-
Diagnosis and treatment of some sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) found during a family planning visit

Diagnosis of HIV/AIDS found during a family planning visit

Transportation to and from a family planning provider
The MFPP does not cover:

Abortions
-
Infertility treatment
-
Family planning services provided in an inpatient setting

Treatment of HIV/AIDS

Immunizations and vaccines
