For annuities evaluated prior to July 1, 2008, use the Annuity Life Expectancy Table found in this section’s archive, above.
For Method 1 annuities evaluated on or after July 1, 2008, use the Social Security Administration (SSA) Period Life Table.
For Method 2 annuities evaluated before August 1, 2008, use the Annuity Life Expectancy Table found in this section’s archive link, above.
On or after August 1, 2008, use the SSA Period Life Table when calculating the value of an annuity transfer and the actuarial soundness of an annuity.
This table is used when calculating the value of an annuity transfer.
