The Social Security Administration (SSA) Period Life Table is used to evaluate the actuarial soundness of annuities, promissory notes, loans and mortgages.
Effective August 1, 2008, the SSA Period Life Table is used to determine the actuarial soundness of annuities, promissory notes, loans and mortgages.
Use the Annuity Life Expectancy Table, for Method 2 annuities, promissory notes, loans and mortgages evaluated before August 1, 2008. Use the SSA Period Life Table to evaluate Method 1 annuities evaluated on or after July 1, 2008.
The following tables have figures effective January 1, 2011.
