07.25 - Withdrawing an Application |

People may withdraw their application for health care if the application has not been acted on for any household member. An application which has had one or all members approved or denied is considered acted on.
Requests to withdraw the application can be made in any of the following ways:
l Orally.
l By written statement.
l By writing "withdrawn" on the application form and initialing it.
Update MMIS and MAXIS systems to indicate the application was withdrawn. The system notice that is issued will confirm the withdrawal. Finish processing the application if the applicant requests in writing within 10 days of the withdrawal notice that he or she does not want to withdraw the application.
