Public Law 101-508 provides that certain veterans are entitled to a personal needs allowance of $90 per month.
The following figures are used when determining the LTC income calculation’s community spouse allocation amount. See LTC Community Spouse Allocation. The minimum monthly income allowance figure is also used to calculate an allocation to a family member living with the community spouse. See LTC Family Allocation.
